I wanted that same thing for more than 2 years and after spending thousands of valuable dollars, I just about had it with web developers (or wannabe's).

"Because I am a graphical guy, web developers would ask me to draft a visual concept of the actual site. Long hours and very precise designing later, I would present my idea to a developer and he would say "no problem, 50% deposit, and you will have your site in no time" - HA!
